Amateurs Turn Photos & Videos Into Cash

Have you noticed the huge number of photos and videos available online in the past several months? Amateurs are creating much of what you see and are cashing in on the trend.

Stock Photographs:

Stock photos often appear on the internet and in printed publications. Publishers are beginning to use stock photographs instead of hiring photographers for their work.

If you want to get in on this trend, your photos need to be good or at least editable enough to command some attention. Composition, lighting and technical qualities need to be good. Those who use a good photo-editing software suite can get a good head start on making their pics stand out from the crowd.

What's in Demand?

Travel photos and photos of people sell well. The more interesting the subject is, the better.
If you have a portfolio of images, you can list your photos on websites like www.istockphoto.com
or www.dreamstime.com or www.bigstockphoto.com . These companies will take a cut of your sales.
